Well. wot can i say!? We made it through to the final! Fat Sams here we come! Massive thanks to everyone who came along to support any of the bands it was an amazing night. By far the best crowd we have ever played to and probably our best performance because of that! Special thanks to the bands that voted for us and sorry you guys didnt make it. Hope everyone makes it to the Fatties final on the 17th June to see us and good friend Niall's band Split the Sky. There's gonna be some good bands playing so we need all the support we can round up! Oh my GOD, an updated site! WOW!

Ok, disgruntled fan, many heartfelt apologies for neglecting the upkeep of your (and many others) favourite webpage! Im getting round to it! I cant believe it is nearly the 19th of May already. If any of you didnt kno (which would of course be my fault for not telling you) then i should let you kno that Non-Zero is playing in the Emergenza Battle of The Bands. Heats all this week, with us on wednesday the 19th. Its gonna be really tough, with crowd voting and some great bands playing on our night. As far as i know, Mexico, Secrets We've Told, Page 6, Killer angels and Fragile are all going to be competing for, i think, 3 places in the dundee final in Fatties. From then it is onwards and upwards to national finals and Stardom!! Fingers crossed for a great crowd, or at least one that likes what we do!!

Since its been so long since i did this i hav an unusually large amount of news for you lucky Zeroettes (I just made that up, not sure it will be appreciated but hey, what the hell, you can always let me kno!) We finally got into the studio last tuesday (11th) to record some stuff. We are heading in again on sunday to finish off and mix. Exciting stuff!

If anyone was in the doghouse late on saturday night they might have seen feverish activity on stage as Non-Zero played a late set alongside Secrets We've Told (who ROK), Poindexter, Echofreddy, Trash superstars and Crashdown. Had a really good night so thaks to everyone who played or was there!

Just a last wee bit to say that the Sucioperro gig was awesome, great band and great crowd to stay late again and watch us. Also hi to the Ludivico lads who i cant believe i forgot to mention earlier on! Totally loved their set in the Westie and really looking forward to playing with them again! I believe for once something has actually been organised with that in mind. Thanks again guys, and we will be supporting them in Edinburgh on the 11th of June!! Cant Wait for that one!

Remember to get Tickets for Emergenza from us before the night coz they are more expensive on the door and i may hav a few cheap ones if you ask nicely. ;-)

Howdy, We've got a gig in the Doghouse this coming Tuesday (27th april) supporting Sucioperro. Should be a good gig, apart from the obvious reason that we are playing of course ;-) If you like Biffy Clyro, then you should like Sucioperro so ive heard. We have tickets for the Emergenza heat to sell so if you want to come along on tuesday to decide if you want to support us on the 19th may then we hope you wont be dissapointed!! :-)

Oops, sorry havnt been keeping things up to date very well. Firstly, we think we are going to be in the studio at the end of this month (thanks to drouthys) where we will be recording a few more tracks. Pretty vague at the moment but we'll see what happens! Anyone who came along to the last minute westport gig last week got a treat seeing mexico, the stick finlays, us and k.i.a. play a bit of ROK! Had a great time guys so thanks for that and for inviting us down to Hawick on the saturday night. Bit of a mammoth round trip for us but worth it to play in a new place. There are some nice girls down there, dont you think John? ;-) Well thats us about up to date on the news front. This week we are playing in the westport again on friday night supporting Loadovico. Not sure how it is spelled, sorry guys. Hope people will come along!! Oh , meant to say, we got some live recordings from the westport so will put a few MP3's up soon as. And i really mean soon, not soon as in when i get round to putting up all the pix i have been amassing. which, as usual, will be up soon. :-) see ya on friday! x

WayHey! What a couple of days in the world of Non-Zero. Firstly, Thanks to everyone who made it to the Cathouse on thursday for our warm-up pre-battle set! :-) The Mad drive through to dundee listening to Guns'n'Roses and AC/DC helped keep the buzz going untill we could get to Drouthys and WIN!!! :-) Massive thanks to everyone who helped make it a special night! We really do appreciate your support. To end a great week, we played the Doghouse last night supporting the brilliant Edinburgh band Korova. We hope to be playing with them again soon (once they get a new snare skin)! We will sleep well tonight for sure. Oh, and Happy Birthday to Drummer Ryan and Niall for tonight!

16/3/2004

Just to let people kno, we are gonna hav a few copies of a (fairly) rough demo of most of the songs we will be playing on thursday. ( i think) Niall was asking for Amber Glow and Dan was wanting Beginning, both are on there along with Catch and Take the time to shiver. If anyone wants a copy you can donate a small amount to me, i mean the band, and walk away with an exclusive, limited edition piece of ....hmm... rock history? Tat? Let us know coz we need to decide what to record next in the studio. ;-)

13/3/2004

Hi, sorry havnt updated for a while, been pretty busy, yes you heard me right, busy! Anyway, In case you didnt know, Non-Zero won our heat! That means everyone has to come down to Drouthy Neebors on thursday 18th to see us and Sonic 65, Jesus Enterprise, Reason for Insanity and Umakesh battle it out for The ULTIMATE Prize! im not sure what it is but im sure it involves lots and lots of tennents! :-) Thanks again for everyone who came down to support us. Should be a good night again on thursday. See you there.

22/2/2004

Big thanks to everyone who came down to the doghouse on friday night, except for Niall who had a terrible excuse. Must try harder. :-) Thanks Mexico for calling and also thanks to Dave from the doghouse for letting us play with Mexico and Rachael and being supportive. We are looking forward to playing again! Next issue is what cover version to play next thursday at the battle of bands heat. Hmm, not easy.

19/2/2004

Newsflash! We are now playing Friday night, repeat in the doghouse supporting Mexico and Rachael Peaches i think they are called, sorry guys if that is wrong! :-) Some bands pulled out and we have stepped into the breach with heads held high and a steady hand. Make a snap decision and come swell the crowds!!!

18/2/2004

Right, the gig on Sat the 28th is definately off. The Hazy Janes cant make it so we thought we would put all our eggs in one basket and concentrate on the Drouthy's Battle Heat on thursday the 4th. Loads of of other dates to mention too. I'll put them here and you can get more details from the upcoming gigs link over there. :-)

We are playing Thu 18th March at the Cathouse in Glasgow, Fri the 19th in the Doghouse in Dundee, Fri 16th April at the Westport in Dundee, Thu 22nd April in Whistle Binkies in Edinburgh and the 13th note in Glasgow on the 7th july. more details to come. We are getting a bit better at the advance warning dontcha think!

Oh and for those who have been out and about and been captured on camera recently, i will definately get pix up soon!!
